Main responsibilities Project support and minor works Assist the Site Supervisor with improvement projects and minor works, from planning through completion. Help define project scopes, set timelines, and organize schedules to minimize disruption to client operations. Contribute to preparing clear, cost-effective quotations for labor, materials, and subcontractor services. Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Technical asset and maintenance Support responses to facilities production and safety incidents, troubleshooting and resolving asset failures. Carry out diagnostics on building systems, including HVAC, air handling units, electrical infrastructure, compressed air, pumps, and lighting. Work to improve planned maintenance standards in line with SFG20 guidelines, supporting compliance and asset longevity. Develop and manage a critical spare parts inventory to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for essential infrastructure. Energy and systems management Monitor and optimize Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Identify opportunities to improve energy performance, reduce waste, and contribute to sustainability goals. Use monitoring platforms and trend data to drive system efficiency and enhance site performance. Contractor oversight and health & safety Supervise specialist subcontractors working on site maintenance, repairs, inspections, and projects. Review and ensure compliance with Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS). Ensure all work meets client health and safety standards, site procedures, and legal requirements. Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to support a strong safety culture. Stakeholder communication and reporting Provide regular updates to management and client stakeholders on asset status, project progress, maintenance performance, and costs. Maintain accurate records using MRI CAFM and other reporting tools. Participate in operational meetings to align facilities management activities with production schedules and business objectives.
