The Senior SAP SuccessFactors Engineer for the EMEA region is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, ongoing support, and enhancement of Colliers' SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem throughout EMEA.
This position involves providing Level 3 support, executing controlled configurations, and spearheading quarterly release and change initiatives across essential HR modules. Working collaboratively with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external AMS partners, you will uphold system stability, data integrity, and robust governance within the SuccessFactors platform.
Key Responsibilities
Ongoing Support & Platform Stability
- Serve as Level 3 support for SAP SuccessFactors, addressing complex functional and technical challenges.
- Manage recurring issues through comprehensive root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Handle BAU incidents, defects, and minor enhancements in accordance with established SLAs.
- Facilitate payroll-related changes with proper controls and validation.
Configuration, Change & Release Management
- Implement minor configuration modifications and enhancements.
- Ensure that changes comply with the development → test → release process.
- Lead BAU operations for quarterly SuccessFactors releases, which include:
- Reviewing release notes and assessing impacts
- Coordinating testing and validation
- Post-release stabilization activities
- Maintain alignment across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Administer system management tasks, including role-based permissions, security protocols, and certificate renewals (e.g., SSO / SSL when applicable).
Integration & Downstream Awareness
- Provide ongoing support for integrations between SuccessFactors and:
- Payroll systems (e.g., ECP / third-party providers)
- Finance / ERP systems
- Identity and access management solutions
- Monitor interfaces, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate resolutions with AMS or integration teams.
- Ensure awareness of downstream effects before implementing changes.
Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Guarantee that the usage and configuration of SuccessFactors comply with governance, data protection, security, and local laws.
- Participate in change governance and CAB processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system and configurations.
- Act as a reliable contact for HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
- Translate technical issues into clear business language.
- Collaborate closely with AMS providers and SAP Support to resolve intricate issues.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts within the BAU team.
