Your Role
We are in search of a talented DevOps Engineer to enhance our deployment reliability, minimize operational risks, and help transition our AWS infrastructure toward Kubernetes.
Our team operates fully remotely, with a preference for candidates in time zones aligning with the greater United States (UTC-10 to UTC-4).
This position includes on-call responsibilities as part of a rotating schedule, with occasional requirements to work outside standard business hours for infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and are committed to supporting you in achieving this.
About Our Team
As a compact DevOps team, we support the entire Engineering organization, creating applications atop EC2 and AWS. We are responsible for all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and continually aim to automate self-service processes. Our small size allows us to practice Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), focusing on improving observability and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code. Security and compliance are ingrained in our workflows, ensuring our systems are secure by design and adhere to both regulatory and organizational standards. Our team thrives in a remote setting, maintaining high organization to meet the fast-paced demands of our industry. English is our primary language of communication, and we place a strong emphasis on effective communication skills.
About You
You are a proficient cloud engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing Amazon Web Services (AWS), including expertise in EC2, Route53, S3, ECR, IAM security, VPC, and Security Groups. Your background includes substantial experience operating large-scale, high-availability, asynchronous, distributed systems and deploying service-oriented architectures. You possess a strong commitment to best practices in security and compliance.
