After a recent $30 million funding round, we are investing in new solutions to improve the nation’s largest mass transit system: school buses. Vice President of Marketing Overview The Vice President of Marketing will lead BusRight’s marketing strategy and execution, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with teams across the Commercial organization. This role focuses on generating marketing qualified leads that drive revenue, designing and implementing strategies that increase demand, improve conversion rates, and deliver effective messaging and campaigns throughout the sales funnel. Our marketing approach includes in-person events, online webinars, and targeted email campaigns. The VP will synchronize and optimize these efforts into a scalable strategy aimed at sustaining 100% year-over-year growth. Key Focus Areas As BusRight’s first VP of Marketing, this leader will address five core questions to shape revenue-driving initiatives: Demand Generation Strategies: Identify the right mix of channels and tactics (webinars, website, PR, print, digital, and unconventional ideas) for efficient demand generation. In-Person Events: Design, execute, and measure a scalable in-person events strategy across multiple territories. Content and Collateral: Develop content, social proof, and referral incentives to generate more qualified opportunities and accelerate the sales cycle. Data and GTM Insights: Use outreach and CRM data to extract insights and build strong marketing-sales alignment for our hub-and-spoke go-to-market model. Audience Segmentation: Define key audiences, segment them effectively, and craft persona-driven messaging strategies for each group. Qualifications 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience in high-growth, venture-backed companies (ideally Series A-C). Strong background in selling to focused, close-knit markets where word of mouth and social proof matter. Experience in the K-12 education sector is a plus.
