As a C-S-E-SE Technologist specializing in Tooling Preparation, you will play a crucial role in managing the acquisition and deployment of rework tools, handy tools, clip guns, and other essential equipment during product transitions and new product introductions. Your expertise in Change Management and Project Management will be vital as you serve as the key liaison between our production engineers and suppliers for newly designed tools.Your responsibilities will include the installation and support of innovative tooling processes, including foaming tools and molding tools, as well as advanced technologies such as robotics, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and virtual reality applications. You will also be tasked with creating Maintenance Working Instructions for all tool types, ensuring the Maintenance team is effectively trained and coached.In this role, you will establish setup parameters and maintain accurate data within our systems for necessary tools. You will coordinate manufacturing and/or service providers to deliver auxiliary tools, fixtures, and non-standard equipment. Additionally, you will lead efforts in constructing and modifying assembly facilities per standards during product changes and new introductions, aligning with our process flows and project plans.Further, you will define and maintain the spare parts database, ensuring all necessary information is captured and initial spare parts are ordered. You will implement lessons learned and best practices, actively sharing insights across the Production Management network and country plants.Finally, you will create and review local work instructions and training materials for the Production Maintenance team regarding tool operations and monitor the traceability of ordered tools and material status for configuration tests and validations. Your support will also be crucial in executing technical changes based on drawing and quality management requirements.
