Toast, Inc. is building a restaurant platform that helps restaurateurs focus on running and growing their businesses. The Senior Bilingual Customer Care Specialist (English & French) plays a key part in delivering excellent support to Toast customers, using both technical knowledge and strong communication skills to resolve issues and answer questions.
Location and Work Model
- Location: Chennai
- Shifts: Night shifts within a 24x7 support schedule, including weekends and holidays. Rotational week offs apply.
- First 6 months: Work from office (Chennai).
- After training: Hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote each week).
What You Will Do
- Handle customer voice calls and casework, drawing on Toast product knowledge and customer service experience.
- Write clear, concise, and professional communications so customers understand each situation.
- Explain complex technical details in a way customers can grasp.
- Juggle business applications and customer chats while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
- Work closely with teammates to ensure every customer receives the support they need.
- Continue building expertise in Toast’s hardware and software through training, knowledgebase resources, and hands-on learning.
- Follow Toast’s procedures for escalating and coordinating customer responses, always reflecting Toast’s values.
