About the RoleWe are excited to announce a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Engineering Team Leader to become a key member of our dynamic, multi-site engineering department. As we strive to meet and exceed industry standards, we are looking for skilled and experienced engineering professionals who are eager to contribute to our success.The Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that our production plant, services, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition. This role requires effective leadership and adherence to best engineering practices to deliver efficient and cost-effective services across all business areas, utilizing external contractors only when necessary. Key responsibilities include addressing both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns promptly and efficiently. The Engineering Team Leader will take full responsibility for daily KPIs and oversee team training and performance, keeping training records as needed.Work Schedule: Site Based. PO21 3PX. Day Shift: 4 Days on 4 Days offNote: NO AGENCIES PLEASEKey Responsibilities Include:Lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment.Identify and implement appropriate training for the engineering team.Ensure timely response to PPM and reactive breakdowns.Adhere to GMP, SHE, and audit policies, addressing actions promptly.Actively participate in the HACCP team.Achieve plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through effective maintenance strategies.Support the engineering manager in achieving departmental KPIs.Manage and maintain stock levels for plant and equipment.Assist the engineering manager in contractor management across sites.Focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
