Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Location: Clinton, PA
Summary:
The Facilities Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workplace. This position encompasses a variety of general facilities tasks aimed at maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in cleanup and organizational activities.
• Assist maintenance teams with various facility assignments.
• Ensure Cleanrooms are kept neat, clean, and organized, collaborating with Production and maintenance staff as needed.
• Verify the effectiveness of repairs and improvements, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Maintain necessary documentation to ensure accountability in processes.
• Identify and report hazards to Safety, Quality, and Production teams when necessary.
• Utilize necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs, safety issues, or housekeeping concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, maintenance rooms, and storage spaces.
• Assist with basic repairs, including lighting, minor plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance activities by coordinating schedules and ensuring documentation is completed.
• Monitor and restock facility supplies (janitorial, safety, office, etc.).
• Perform routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or housekeeping issues.
• Assist with basic repairs including lighting, minor plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance activities by coordinating schedules and ensuring documentation is completed.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to sit; use hands to handle or feel tools, objects, or controls.
- Capability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or materials.
- Previous experience with tools (e.g., vacuums, drills).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Additional training in facilities maintenance or related fields.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
