About Your Role
We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer to join our Cork team, tasked with developing the frontend of our innovative SaaS product, Calico Cloud.
Your Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with fellow software engineers, DevOps professionals, and product managers to deliver high-quality products and features on time, while effectively managing and communicating associated risks. Your role will involve designing and building the user interface for Calico products.
Your deliverables will encompass code and UI artifacts, along with their corresponding automated tests, which will form the backbone of the Calico Cloud user interface. Depending on the feature being developed, your contributions may also include wireframes and mockups to facilitate productive design discussions with our Product Management team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product-oriented UI development (experience with SaaS platforms is a plus)
- Proficient in modern web application development, including:
- React and frameworks like Next.js
- TypeScript / modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Semantic HTML and contemporary CSS, including component-driven styling
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining scalable single-page applications (SPAs) and/or hybrid SSR applications
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
