Join our dedicated team at Calor Gas Limited located at Tolka Quay Road, Dublin Port, Dublin 1.
This is a night shift role, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 21:30 to 05:30.
We are in search of a dependable and diligent LPG Tank Loader who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth loading and unloading of goods, thereby facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the refuelling of all bulk road tankers according to Calor loading procedures.
- Manage the offloading of LPG in case of an over-fill adhering to Calor's established procedures.
- Report vehicle defects and any accident damages to transport management promptly.
- Notify depot management of any depot-related issues.
- Immediately report accidents or incidents to management.
- Participate in training for new processes, equipment, and technologies as part of ongoing professional development.
- Perform vehicle weight checks following Calor procedures.
- Assist in training drivers on loading activities.
- Set up the pipeline between the designated storage tank and the fill bay, ensuring the safety system is activated before bulk loading.
- Maintain daily stock records and take periodic actual storage tank readings when requested by senior fitter.
- Ensure all pumps are switched off and relevant valves are closed prior to leaving the yard.
- Alert relevant personnel about any alarms or unusual occurrences following site emergency plans and SOPs.
- Activate the appropriate Internal/External Emergency Plan in case of an emergency and act as required.
- Investigate alarms and take necessary actions.
