Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Process Development Engineer at Elve, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. Collaborating closely with design and production teams, you will enhance workflow efficiency, increase yield rates, and decrease lead times. Your key responsibilities will encompass designing and executing experiments, performing data analysis and failure analysis, developing and implementing tooling solutions, and evaluating equipment and services. You will also work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful transition of new products and processes into production. Furthermore, you will support process validation, troubleshooting, and training initiatives. This full-time salaried position presents exciting opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
Work Environment
This role requires you to work on-site in Davis, CA, five days a week. The work environment will include:

- ISO 5 - ISO 7 Cleanroom
- Laboratory

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemistry, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in a commercial manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in a variety of manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in SPC, data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), Taguchi methods, and Six Sigma principles for process characterization and optimization
- Practical experience with hand tools
- Hands-on experience with precision assembly and materials processing in an electromechanical hardware manufacturing context
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-driven with a strong sense of curiosity
- To comply with U. S. Government technology export regulations, candidates must be either a U. S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, a protected individual, or eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U. S. Department of State.
