This is a hands-on role where you will build and debug live systems used by actual customers, setting the stage for potential advancement into a full-time Forward Deployed Engineer position.What You’ll Do• Develop and enhance API integrations with third-party systems (CRM, ATS, telephony, internal tools)• Create data flows connecting Whippy with external platforms• Troubleshoot production issues related to webhooks, retries, and asynchronous workflows• Optimize logging, monitoring, and visibility across deployment systems• Document integration architecture and deployment methodologies• Recognize patterns across customer implementations and suggest reusable enhancementsWhat We’re Looking For• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science (completed or in final year)• Solid programming fundamentals• Experience in developing substantial software projects (internships, open source, personal projects)• Comfort with APIs and relational databases• Strong analytical skills for data flow and troubleshooting• A proactive mindset with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
