The Startup and SMB team is a dynamic, consultative sales force dedicated to driving growth for Stripe’s startup and SMB clientele in the region. We collaborate with the most ambitious and rapidly scaling companies, utilizing Stripe’s payments and financial solutions to unlock new avenues for revenue and growth.
Your Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and closing deals to nurturing existing relationships and identifying fresh opportunities to expand Stripe’s presence within current accounts. We seek a proactive individual capable of executing strategic sales initiatives, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, aligning technical and business goals with product teams, building value in competitive scenarios, leading commercial negotiations, and successfully closing agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with existing Startup and SMB customers to devise and implement long-term sales strategies that enhance Stripe’s revenue.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including business case development, deal structuring, negotiation, closure, and activation.
- Maintain a portfolio of named accounts and craft strategic plans to win and expand business with high-growth technology firms.
- Develop outbound strategies to generate and cultivate new opportunities.
- Guide deal strategy and lead commercial negotiations for significant, complex renewals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with executive stakeholders within your account base.
- Conduct account mapping and coordinate impactful meetings with relevant external stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships.
- Lead and participate in team projects aimed at refining our sales processes and enhancing the Stripe sales culture.
