Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards is paramount, along with promoting an ethos of continuous improvement across all teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Inspire, coach, and mentor project teams, including Project Managers and Coordinators, while promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.Resource Planning: Assess and secure necessary resources to fulfill project commitments.Preconstruction and Bidding: Lead the team in structuring and delivering project bids and budgets, as well as other pre-construction services.Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance client relationships post-award to ensure exceptional service and client retention.Project Execution: Ensure alignment of the Project Execution Plan with corporate objectives; manage goals, risks, assumptions, budgets, staffing, responsibility matrices, WBS, milestones, and deliverables.Contract and Commercial Management: Oversee contract management, strategy, and risk analysis for various delivery models including Design-Bid-Build and Integrated Project Delivery.Scheduling and Logistics: Create construction sequencing and logistics plans to optimize safety, productivity, and schedules.Financial Management: Lead project forecasting and financial reporting processes; ensure precise forecasts are created, risks are addressed, and financial strategies are developed collaboratively.Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and seize opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.Safety and Continuous Improvement: Promote a safety culture that aligns with corporate values and best practices; standardize the documentation of lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.Business Development Support: Supervise the development and success of pursuits, proposals, project interviews, and client presentations to grow the business in collaboration with the VP and Business Development Directors.Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community partners.
