The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate or property management and will demonstrate exceptional accounting and reporting skills.Account Management: Collaborate effectively with external property management firms to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of financial information.Financial Reporting: Review and analyze monthly property reports generated by external partners.Data Reconciliation: Map, upload, and reconcile monthly financial data within the MRI accounting system.Coordination: Liaise with property management firms and lenders regarding reimbursement requests, funding requirements, and additional inquiries.Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements for corporate and real estate entities, ensuring accuracy during the monthly financial close.Capex Updates: Maintain updated capital expenditure activities for quarterly property reimbursements.Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries in the financial system.Acquisitions & Dispositions: Support the acquisition and disposition processes, including proration reviews and closing entry preparations.Bank Reconciliations: Assist with investor entity-level bank reconciliations.Invoice Preparation: Calculate and prepare invoices for various property-related fees.Corporate Responsibilities:Process corporate billings, invoices, and credit card transactions.Prepare and manage staff expense reports as required.Generate special reports for management as needed.Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.Conduct monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.Tax and Entity Maintenance:Align various schedules with tax returns and assist in payment processing.Prepare year-end audit and tax schedules in collaboration with the fund administrator.
