Role Overview Lead a team focused on designing and developing advanced communications and data link systems to strengthen Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN). Support current CHAOS sensor products with essential communications capabilities. Drive innovation in new communication product families with advanced features. Key Responsibilities Design and develop directive data links to connect nodes within a CDN. Implement methods to reduce the RF signature of data links. Work with timing experts to integrate precise time-transfer algorithms into the network. Lead the development of new communications features with limited supervision. Identify or build cost-effective, rugged hardware to keep data links working in tactical, mobile environments. Research and apply techniques for node positioning without relying on GPS.
