Some weeks, you may delve into data quality analysis, assessing the value of a corpus and how its composition influences performance on both public and custom evaluation tasks. Other times, you will refine large-scale processing pipelines or develop tools that provide the team insight into our models' training data. Additionally, you will stay abreast of the latest research on pre-training data methodologies, translating insights into experiments within our framework.We adopt an evidence-based approach to our data work. Filtering strategies, data mixtures, and quality thresholds are informed by rigorous experimentation; you will design and execute targeted studies to confirm that your data selections enhance model performance.We are in search of a candidate who brings a wealth of research experience (from either industry or academia) coupled with strong engineering skills.Your contributions will significantly impact our models: the data you source, curate, and synthesize will directly influence what our models learn, their performance, and their limitations.
