As a Senior Footwear Product Engineer, you will provide vital technical guidance and engineering solutions to ensure that On’s innovative LightSpray products are meticulously engineered and successfully transitioned through the commercialization process. This role is integral to the LightSpray Team and involves regular travel throughout Asia.
YOUR MISSION:
- Oversee engineering activities pertinent to On’s LightSpray products, ensuring smooth progression through all stages of development.
- Incorporate innovative sole materials into tooling processes to foster advancements in product design and manufacturing.
- Work closely with Developers and Tooling Engineers to synchronize the creation of uppers with tooling development, facilitating key connections across all phases.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on bottom units prior to shipment to T1 partners, upholding high standards for every component.
- Champion our commitment to sustainability and quality, spearheading initiatives that set On apart from competitors.

We seek a Footwear Product Engineer with a passion for innovation in athletic footwear and a drive for peak performance. The ideal candidate will excel in ambiguous situations, providing structure and clarity to engineering challenges while aiding in strategic decision-making. Flexibility and the motivation to keep pace with On’s rapid growth are essential. We value collaborative team players who can manage multiple projects effectively.
YOUR STORY:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Tooling Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing or R&D, including manufacturing, industrial or mechanical engineering, and tooling engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of molding processes, equipment, materials, and mold tooling.
- Strong understanding of product fabrication, tooling, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, sketches, and 3D digital files.
