About the Team
The Counter Intrusion Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) team is at the forefront of developing innovative systems that enhance force protection capabilities by monitoring secure perimeters across land and sea. In a landscape where security personnel are inundated with sensor data, our solutions utilize sophisticated sensor fusion and autonomous technologies to provide a cohesive operational picture via Lattice. By alleviating the burden on operators, we empower our clients to maximize efficiency with fewer resources. Our team is actively engaged in integrating existing legacy security systems into the Lattice ecosystem, focusing on scalable software solutions that cater to multiple clients without the need for custom software. The Counter Intrusion team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of our systems, collaborating closely with product, engineering, sales, logistics, operations, and mission success teams.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead the application of cutting-edge research to tackle complex challenges. This role encompasses ownership of the complete machine learning stack within the Counter Intrusion team. You will design and train advanced multi-sensor object detection models for edge computing devices, pushing the limits of our sensor capabilities. Additionally, you will develop sophisticated learning algorithms that optimize the functionality of autonomous systems. Your responsibilities will include the end-to-end architecture, implementation, and performance oversight of the ML stack, as well as the infrastructure for data collection and training. Your contributions will have a direct impact on Anduril's ability to deliver state-of-the-art defense technologies, with opportunities to explore and develop innovative ML applications across our diverse product offerings.
