Job SummaryExecute quality assurance activities in alignment with the established quality management system.Develop inspection and testing plans along with documentation as required by project specifications and international standards.Conduct inspections within the piping discipline to verify compliance with quality standards and document results accordingly.Utilize efficient tools, such as inspection matrices, to manage and control inspection statuses.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and conduct inspections for the piping discipline.Issue Requests For Inspection (RFI) to clients as necessary, ensuring timely notifications for hold, witness, and inspection points.Prepare and review quality procedure documents, such as Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Material Approval Requests (MAR), submitted by subcontractors.Review, approve, and prepare inspection reports that reflect the outcomes of inspections.Maintain control of inspection statuses using systematic tools like inspection matrices.Establish and enforce practical inspection processes pertinent to the project and international standards (providing ITPs and managing matrices).Ensure Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are addressed and closed in a timely manner while assisting in the development of Corrective Action Plans.Coordinate inspections with clients and perform QC Supervisor duties in their absence.Address quality violations through regular toolbox talks with the construction team.Review and monitor material submissions required for piping definable features of work before preparatory meetings.Facilitate preparatory meetings with subcontractors concerning piping definable features of work.Inspect incoming material deliveries to ensure compliance with specifications and approved submissions, conducting visual and measurement tests in collaboration with the onsite logistics team.Reject and manage the return of non-compliant materials.Implement lessons learned and ensure proper preventive actions are taken.Review prefabricated spool releases, welding histories, and perform associated inspections.Approve test packages, manage line walks, prepare punch lists, and oversee hydrostatic testing inspections.Monitor radiographic testing backlogs as per project requirements.Work location is Fadhili, Saudi Arabia.
