Technical Responsibilities
Assemble solar panels and standard frames as required.
Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in compliance with industry standards utilizing drawings, schematics, and directives from senior management.
Install electrical components, equipment, and systems effectively.
Identify suitable locations and orientations for panel installations.
Execute wiring related to solar systems, including connections for panels, inverters, and batteries.
Understand cable sizing for both DC and AC systems.
Conduct routine maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal performance of panels, arrays, batteries, inverters, and structures.
Maintain records of system operations, performance metrics, and maintenance activities.
Oversee large scale installations to ensure quality and compliance.
Procurement Duties
Coordinate the arrangement of necessary tools and equipment.
Assess and determine sizes, ratings, and locations for all system overcurrent devices, disconnect devices, grounding equipment, and surge protection devices.
Product Handling Responsibilities
Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls to achieve desired set points and operational modes.
Identify and rectify any deficiencies in photovoltaic (PV) system installations, wiring, or materials.
Test operating voltages to verify that power conditioning equipment, such as inverters and controllers, operate within acceptable limits.
Read and interpret user and technical manuals effectively.
