About the Role
We are actively seeking a results-oriented Deposit Mobilization Officer to become part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with sourcing and mobilizing at least ₦50 million in deposits every month. You will engage closely with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate entities, and institutional clients.
As a key contributor to our organization, you will help broaden our deposit base through effective client acquisition strategies, robust relationship management, and innovative deposit initiatives. This position is perfect for individuals with a solid background in financial services, especially those with proven experience in client relationship management or deposit mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategies to attract deposits from individuals and corporate clients.
- Identify, onboard, and cultivate new clients, ensuring you achieve a minimum monthly deposit target of ₦50 million.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients to boost deposit volumes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and the Senior Wealth Manager to customize investment and deposit solutions for clients.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and keep daily activity reports updated.
- Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role (Relationship Manager, Sales Officer, or Business Development Officer within a financial institution).
- Demonstrated experience in deposit mobilization or managing client wealth portfolios.
- A robust network of HNIs, corporate professionals, and businesses.
- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
- Goal-focused, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial banking, microfinance, or asset management.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and investment strategies.
- Capability to perform well under pressure and consistently meet monthly deposit goals.
