You will be responsible for deploying data integrations, operational tools, and independent product capabilities that are essential to scaling our customer base tenfold.Reporting directly to our Founder (James, located in London), you will engage daily with your team members, the Product Manager, and YASO's operations team in Shanghai. You will also have regular opportunities for in-person collaboration with our international teams across Europe and Shanghai.Within your first 60 days, you will have successfully deployed at least one feature that our operations team or customers utilize weekly, taking ownership of the entire process from inception to delivery.You WillDevelop end-to-end features from database schema to user interface that address genuine operational challenges and yield significant impact for our team and customers.Design and implement APIs that support both internal tools and customer-facing platform functionalities, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.Translate product requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with our Product Manager to refine specifications, evaluate feasibility, and identify architectural concerns before they escalate.Take ownership of your code in production. Manage deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting performance issues, and maintaining the systems you create.Work asynchronously across time zones. Engage daily with our engineering team in Shanghai, contributing to a shared data infrastructure and our unified codebase.Participate in the EU-based on-call rotation to uphold system reliability.Influence our engineering culture through comprehensive code reviews, documentation, and sharing best practices with the team.Shape our roadmap by providing valuable technical insights on our strategic direction.
