ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maneuver Dominance team at Anduril is at the forefront of creating operationally significant, multi-asset autonomy solutions. Our focus lies in pioneering the next wave of autonomous capabilities by enhancing existing Anduril platforms such as Ghost and Altius, integrating third-party platforms within the Lattice ecosystem, and developing groundbreaking systems poised to redefine battlefield dynamics. We engineer software services and autonomy algorithms designed to tackle some of the most challenging problems faced by our clients.
As a Full-Stack Engineer on the Maneuver Dominance team, you will conceptualize and implement systems for fleets of diverse autonomous systems operating in intricate environments. This role necessitates technical agility across the technology stack, from backend services and infrastructure to frontend user interfaces. Above all, engineers in the Maneuver Dominance team embody a “Whatever It Takes” ethos, executing projects in a timely, scalable, and efficient manner while prioritizing mission objectives and making sound engineering choices to ensure high-quality outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop robust, high-performance backend services that manage fleets of autonomous systems, utilizing C++ and Rust for scenario execution, physics modeling, and autonomy.
- Design and implement APIs and data pipelines that facilitate the complete mission lifecycle, from design and planning through to live operations and post-mission analysis.
- Enhance the operator experience by creating frontend components that visualize real-time sensor data and mission status, including interactive map overlays, telemetry dashboards, and mission planning interfaces.
- Deploy and sustain services within a Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
- Manage application integration, collaborating with gRPC/protobuf and other platform components to establish smooth workflows.
- Work closely with robotics engineers, autonomy specialists, and other team members to foster innovation and drive project success.
