Role Summary
We are on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to become a part of our Product team. The Electrical Engineer will report directly to the VP of Atomization & Innovation and will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the electrical and embedded systems for a vaporization device that utilizes our innovative heater technology. This role encompasses electronics hardware, embedded software, and system-level integration, requiring close collaboration with mechanical engineers, CFD engineers, aerosol scientists, and chemical engineers to ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and compliant product from concept to manufacture.
Role Responsibilities
Electrical & Electronics Design
- Design and develop both analogue and digital electronic circuits, including power management, sensing, control, and communication interfaces to enhance the performance of our novel heater technology.
- Create schematics, PCBA layouts, and support prototype builds and design iterations.
- Select and specify electronic components with an eye on performance, reliability, cost, and supply chain robustness, collaborating with our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team in Shenzhen, China.
- Assist in Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR) processes.
