Our Electron rocket is the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket, successfully delivering over 230 satellites into orbit. We are also developing Neutron, a medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is responsible for a diverse array of satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as parts utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.

Our Space Systems team creates everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the subsystems that enable successful operations in space, such as solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, and radios.
Having facilitated over 1,700 missions encompassing interplanetary exploration, in-space manufacturing, and defense initiatives, our team collaborates with partners like NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U. S. Space Force. Whether it involves creating a high-performance spacecraft, a constellation, or integrated components that facilitate space access, our world-class Space Systems team is behind some of the most audacious and transformative space missions.
DIRECTOR, SPACE VEHICLE DESIGN
Located at Rocket Lab's global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Director of Space Vehicle Design is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the Space Systems Chief. This position requires hands-on leadership and innovation to drive the future of our space vehicle designs.
