Role overview As Principal Simulation Engineer, the main responsibility is to develop physics-based and data-driven models for Freeform’s automated, production-scale metal 3D printing platform. The work centers on building detailed simulations for technical challenges that may not have existing solutions. Collaboration with colleagues from software, hardware, and manufacturing is a key part of the process, along with rapid iteration to push the technology forward.
