In this role, you will oversee access control in a vibrant warehousing environment, ensuring that all visitors, contractors, and haulage drivers are adequately managed and briefed upon entry in accordance with company protocols.Enhance the security of our company, site, resources, and personnel.Electronically record the entry and exit of vehicles and loads in the primary truck yard.Conduct exit security checks and liaise with warehouse staff and Shunter drivers when directing incoming loads.Provide drivers with clear guidance on behavior and expected standards while on site.Be knowledgeable about all fire procedures and actions in case of alarm activations.Monitor refrigerator temperatures and report any faults.Oversee CCTV and respond to incidents as necessary.Act as a liaison between emergency services and external agencies during incidents.Conduct random searches of staff vehicles and baggage.Perform routine patrols around the site both internally and externally to maintain a strong security presence.Serve as a visual deterrent against potential criminal activities.Report all incidents and occurrences through the appropriate channels when necessary.
