If you have expertise in tools, technical workspaces, and an understanding of production processes, keep reading!At Lely, we implement around 400 changes annually within ongoing production processes across various products. As a Manufacturing Support Officer, you will directly contribute to these changes. In this multifaceted role, you will receive technical designs that enable you to set up physical workspaces (production cells). This may involve the installation of mirror boards, rails, and identification labels. Beyond setup, you'll assist production staff in effectively utilizing tools and production resources. You'll also be responsible for issuing new or replacement tools in case of defects and helping to prevent equipment failures. You will collaborate closely with fellow Manufacturing Support Officers as part of a team comprising Manufacturing Engineers, Production Engineers, Manufacturing Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Assembly Engineers.Your key responsibilities include:Introducing new products and components into production cells based on process information and line design;Timely replacement of items in the production line with appropriate identification;Providing the necessary usage and consumption resources to production, required for correctly, ergonomically, and safely assembling or packaging Lely products;Managing the tool storage: issuing, maintaining, and replacing tools and consumables, including ordering tools, replenishing tool dispensers, and processing invoices;Recording tools during issuance and repair in Excel and integrating data into existing reports;Proposing improvements to production lines (Supply Chain teams) regarding the setup of production aids while adhering to ARBO regulations.
