Role overview
This director-level position takes ownership of revenue generation and client acquisition. The work involves building and managing a pipeline of construction opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing the proposal and bidding process. Success in this role requires strong leadership in front-end sales and a strategic approach to deal execution.
What you will do
- Build and manage a pipeline of commercial construction opportunities through outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Identify and pursue projects in both private and government sectors that fit the company's capabilities.
- Lead client discussions on project feasibility, budgeting, and construction approaches.
- Analyze RFPs, drawings, and specifications to develop competitive bids.
- Create and present proposals, including pricing, scope, and engineering strategies.
- Source and evaluate subcontractors for accurate bid development.
- Develop bid strategies and collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals.
- Maintain relationships with developers, owners, construction managers, and public sector contacts.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align project scope before contract award.
- Facilitate contract negotiations and support the transition from sales to project execution.
