Your Role
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to design and scale the backend services that drive our AI-powered products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services to support LLM-based agents and clinical automation.
- Create secure and scalable APIs & data models that can be easily extended by other teams.
- Enhance performance and cost-efficiency through profiling, database tuning, and optimizing cloud resources.
- Automate quality assurance by writing unit and integration tests, crafting alerts, and maintaining on-call runbooks to ensure clinicians can rely on every interaction.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features from concept to production in a matter of weeks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles; proficiency in Python is essential, but versatility across technologies is valued.
- Extensive database knowledge, including schema design, query optimization, and scaling for both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (GCP or AWS), including containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security, and observability.
- Experience building scalable systems that handle large volumes of data and high-traffic environments.
