Oversee the activities and personnel within the area.Implement corrective and preventive actions identified during inspections, audits, or incident investigations conducted by SGS, clients, or third parties, while supporting the implementation and maintenance of our management systems.Contribute to the development and enhancement of processes and documentation, alongside promoting and training on these materials.Coordinate and provide support for inspection, sampling, and shipping activities (as applicable) with involved personnel (commercial executives, clients, customs agents, inspectors, etc.).Ensure proper usage and completion of necessary documentation for services.Verify compliance with assigned tasks by team members.Provide timely technical assistance to the team.Ensure inspectors are equipped with all necessary tools and materials for their activities, including personal protective equipment (PPE).Keep the Operations Coordinator / Zonal Chief informed about events that may impact activity performance.Report and verify the completion of SSMA reports for substandard acts and conditions arising during work activities, as well as report incidents/accidents occurring during the execution of our tasks.Conduct a five-minute safety briefing.Verify compliance with the Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) format by inspectors.Develop and maintain the IPER matrix.Adhere to the Quality, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy and specific area objectives.Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct of SGS.Apply established health, safety, and environmental guidelines, identifying and communicating potential risks to ensure safe and healthy practices among colleagues and leaders.Perform other tasks as assigned.
