This team supports Layer 2, 2.5, and 3 service models, which enable isolated data flows and end-to-end encryption. Collaboration covers both ground and spacecraft systems to ensure consistent protection across the network. Role Responsibilities Guide the security architecture for onboard satellite systems, covering both bus and payload compute elements. Design secure boot processes and implement attestation mechanisms to verify system integrity. Define and enforce trust boundaries for all onboard components. Work closely with hardware, firmware, and systems teams to uphold platform integrity throughout the lifecycle.
