Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a 12-month fixed-term contract to engage in the development of trajectory generation approaches for the hybrid Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) process. This work is part of the collaborative MT-ROBOTICS project, funded by Bpifrance through the 'France 2030' plan, aimed at developing a hybrid additive manufacturing machine and its complete digital chain.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting bibliographic research and analyzing the state of the art.
- Developing manufacturing strategies (process flows) and methods for trajectory generation specific to hybrid WAAM in the software and CNC environments of the project.
- Participating in the development and validation of manufacturing parameters (WAAM, robotic machining).
- Developing and implementing a digital twin of the component related to the project within its design/manufacturing environment.
- Participating in experimental validation on CNC tools and WAAM processes in the laboratory.
