The Role
The Customer Delivery Director serves as the operational cornerstone of the TetraScience account team, ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients and the enhancement of current relationships. While the Scientific Solutions Partner (SSP) articulates the strategic vision and the Technical Delivery Director (TDD) formulates the technical implementation plan, the Customer Delivery Director transforms vision into reality , delivering projects on time, within scope, and often ahead of schedule. Together, both SSP and Delivery roles hold the responsibility of identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities within their accounts.
We seek an individual with a unique profile, ideally a top-tier consultant with extensive experience in biopharma. This individual should have firsthand experience within these organizations, comprehending their political and procurement complexities, and adept at navigating obstacles such as SSO, IT governance, and vendor approvals that may hinder implementation. At TetraScience, our strategy for renewal and expansion hinges on delivering contractual obligations ahead of schedule and demonstrating significant value. Our commitment is to deliver scientific outcomes, not merely services.
This role encompasses the complete delivery lifecycle for a portfolio of enterprise biopharma and life sciences clients, overseeing the implementation and adoption of the Tetra Scientific Data Foundry and Tetra OS across the medallion data architecture (bronze → silver → gold). The Customer Delivery Director acts as a trusted operational partner to clients, facilitating collaboration between internal TetraScience teams (engineering, professional services, product, science) and a variety of client stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes.
This is not a project coordination position. The Customer Delivery Director must possess scientific literacy, political acumen, and commercial strategy, with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks across all dimensions.
