Role overview
This on-site IT Service Engineer position is based in Paris, Île-de-France. The role centers on supporting the Paris office as the main IT contact, handling both technical troubleshooting and daily user interaction. Strong communication and technical skills are both essential, as the position blends hands-on problem-solving with regular engagement with colleagues.
What you will do
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues and service requests from Paris office users.
- Deliver prompt and effective first-line support, resolving issues directly when possible.
- Oversee onboarding for new hires, ensuring devices and system access are prepared for their first day.
- Maintain and support end-user devices, meeting room technology, collaboration tools, and other office IT equipment.
- Document and manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools, following established procedures.
- Build strong relationships with local users through clear and professional communication.
- Collaborate with the global Service Desk and Level 2/3 teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to IT knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Provide occasional travel support to other locations as needed.
