About the Team
The Autonomy team at Gather AI operates at the cutting edge of real-world robotics , designing and deploying systems that can navigate, perceive, and take action within complex, uncontrolled warehouse environments. Our team encompasses drone autonomy, perception, and MHE Vision, working across multiple active product lines with live deployments at customer locations. As part of a matrixed project team, you will collaborate closely with engineers specializing in both hardware and software, where your contributions are immediately visible and your efforts tackle the most pressing challenges.
About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Robotics Engineer to join one of our core product teams , either focusing on our MHE Vision (MHEV) or Drone platform. Your work will help power the warehouse intelligence products we offer. Both platforms are currently in active implementation and are progressing toward ongoing production, with continuous enhancements and new features in the pipeline.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone passionate about engaging with the entire robotics stack. You will be responsible for writing software, developing tools, analyzing data, and visiting customer sites to troubleshoot and enhance real-world systems. Over time, you may also expand into adjacent product lines, including MHEV-Freezer, Drone-Freezer, or Wearables.
What You’ll Do
- Quickly familiarize yourself with our drone or MHEV platform, gaining a deep understanding of the complete system , both hardware and software.
- Develop production-quality software for tooling, observability, and data analysis to support system performance and reliability.
