Responsibilities
- Engage in all facets of product operations, encompassing order processing, inventory management, and various material handling tasks utilizing equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Prepare and affix appropriate warehouse, shipping, and documentation labels to packages, pallets, and shipments as required.
- Support the loading and unloading processes of trucks efficiently.
- Assemble products and materials following assembly instructions, drawings, or verbal directives.
- Accurately pick and pack materials, components, and other items based on transfer orders.
- Participate in cycle counts, ShipDesk metrics, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate transactional records in various Esri computer systems and databases, utilizing software applications such as SAP, Microsoft SharePoint, and Office.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to provide timely updates and follow-ups as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Proficient in computer usage, including email, scanning, and network systems; clerical skills for data entry, typing, filing, and copying.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Capability to thrive under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts and stock pickers.
- Current or previous California OSHA forklift certification.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Experience in shipping, order picking, inventory management, and/or production assembly.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping terminology, carriers, and manifest equipment.
