As a Heavy Truck Driving Instructor, you will create an engaging and positive learning environment that maximizes student motivation and learning potential. Your responsibilities include:Fostering a positive classroom atmosphere to enhance student engagement.Maintaining discipline to ensure an effective learning environment.Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Career Technical Training.Utilizing diverse teaching methods to cater to various learning styles.Building strong relationships with students to facilitate their learning journey.Preparing and organizing classroom resources effectively.Updating lesson plans to align with industry standards and training records.Recording and submitting daily attendance as required.Assisting with necessary administrative forms and documentation.Ensuring safety and cleanliness in the classroom and workshop areas.Establishing industry partnerships to create opportunities for work-based learning and job placements.Supporting students in obtaining their educational and vocational credentials.Maintaining electronic training records as needed.Generating reports related to attendance, requisitions, and student evaluations.Assisting in student placements for jobs, military service, college, or apprenticeships.Operating in compliance with the PRH and corporate policies.Evaluating and documenting student progress accurately.Assisting supervisors with inventory management.Modeling appropriate employability skills consistently.Maintaining accountability for staff, students, and property.Adhering to safety practices in all responsibilities.Creating a respectful and harassment-free environment for all participants.Participating in all mandatory staff training sessions.
