You will be at the forefront of designing, architecting, and implementing our iOS application that enhances user engagement—from initial setup and account management to personalized experiences and firmware updates. Collaborating closely with design, firmware, and backend teams, you will create an intuitive and delightful user experience that bridges our hardware with the digital landscape.Responsibilities:Develop and refine Sesame’s standalone companion app, establishing a new standard in consumer product categories, while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality and craftsmanship.Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to create a fluid iOS user experience that seamlessly integrates with Sesame’s wearable technology.Coordinate with cross-functional teams in engineering, design, and product management to deliver complex projects that exceed user expectations.Partner with fellow iOS, Android, and web engineers to define and advance Sesame's mobile and web strategy.Write robust, clean, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability.Engage in code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and oversee App Store release cycles.

You will be responsible for producing and evaluating trained AI models for both text and voice interactions. Collaborating with machine learning engineers, researchers, and cross-functional teams, you will create tailored solutions that cater to the needs of your colleagues. The ideal candidate is not only a proficient software engineer but also possesses a keen sense of UI/UX design for custom internal tools. You will develop and sustain React-based web applications that enable teams to manipulate extensive datasets in the cloud, as well as maintain the cloud-deployed Python infrastructure that powers our innovative products. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the design, validation, and quality strategies of manufacturing processes from concept to mass production.You will engage cross-functionally with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure our data center hardware platforms meet stringent performance, reliability, and scalability standards at both the component and rack levels. This position demands strong analytical skills, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.This role is based in San Francisco, CA, operating under a hybrid work model of three days in the office each week. We also offer relocation assistance to qualified new hires.Key ResponsibilitiesLead thermal-mechanical manufacturing and quality initiatives to guarantee product success from concept through launch and high-volume production.Own the manufacturing process design for next-generation AI hardware systems, collaborating with engineering, operations, TPMs, suppliers, and external partners.Work cross-functionally to design and optimize mechanical and thermal solutions for large-scale data center deployment.Design and validate manufacturing processes for chassis, enclosures, cooling systems, and high-power connections, aligning with performance and reliability standards.Conduct hands-on DFM/DFx analysis across design, development, prototyping, testing, and production phases.Research and implement automation techniques to enhance manufacturing efficiency and scalability.Define and manage manufacturing requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.Partner with suppliers to develop validation plans that ensure reliability and performance criteria are met.
