Position: Quality Technician IIIPay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hrEssential Duties & Responsibilities:With minimal supervision, ensure that policies, procedures, inspection techniques, and quality plans are compliant with established standards.Conduct comprehensive analyses and tests on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to verify adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.Monitor the performance of inspectors and implement corrective actions as needed.Train new inspectors and department staff on policies, procedures, inspection techniques, and quality plans.Ensure that gauges are calibrated correctly and used appropriately. Coordinate repairs for gauges when necessary.Participate in designing experiments and conducting process capability studies.Review Statistical Process Control (SPC) data, maintain data integrity by correcting errors, and provide retraining for inspectors when required.Collaborate with QA supervisors or managers to maintain and update control limits in SPC files, and create new SPC files as necessary.Assist Quality Engineering in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
