Role Overview: Propulsion Performance Engineer (Structural Analyst/Designer)
This position focuses on the structural analysis and design of both rotating and stationary components within engine systems. Key responsibilities include evaluating and enhancing the performance of compressor and turbine rotors, stationary vanes, shafts, and pressurized casings. The role requires taking ownership of these components, guiding their structural improvements, and working closely with aerodynamic and mechanical design teams.
Development cycles move quickly at Mach Industries. Components are designed, manufactured, and tested in weeks, not years. The Propulsion Performance Engineer will play a central part in shaping the next generation of propulsion systems.
What You Will Do
- Assess and improve the structural performance of engine components, including rotating and stationary parts
- Guide the design and enhancement of compressor and turbine rotors, vanes, shafts, and casings
- Collaborate with aerodynamic and mechanical designers throughout the development process
- Support rapid development, manufacturing, and testing cycles
