As a Java Developer, you will: Play a critical role in our platform that processes millions of payments daily. Contribute solutions that provide payment services to leading companies, including Meta, Uber, IFood, 99app, Magalu, Spotify, and more. Integrate with widely used payment methods, such as Visa and Mastercard, among others. Your Responsibilities: Develop the next-generation global payments engine, ensuring our customers stay at the forefront of innovation. Take ownership of systems, features, or frameworks, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with project objectives. Collaborate effectively within your team and across departments, helping to resolve challenges and mentoring junior engineers. Design and implement scalable solutions to complex problems, balancing simplicity and performance while minimizing operational overhead. Identify improvement opportunities, including addressing technical debt and leading cross-team initiatives to enhance system quality and reliability. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring consistent performance and prompt issue resolution, while contributing to incident response efforts. Who You Are: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development. You possess strong expertise in software engineering principles and practices. Your collaborative spirit and problem-solving mindset make you an invaluable team player. Experience with payment systems is a plus.
