As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Axon, you will hold complete design ownership of next-generation life-saving technology, guiding projects from ideation to production. Your work will be visible to top executives and will thrive through passionate leadership and collaboration with product managers, electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams, ensuring public safety for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead innovative product development from concept through to manufacturing.
- Employ creative problem-solving techniques to spearhead the ideation of new product architectures for subsystem and system-level designs.
- Design and evaluate high-fidelity proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Conduct in-depth mechanical analysis to guarantee functionality through FEA, tolerance analysis, and exploratory testing methods.
- Engage regularly with both domestic and international stakeholders.
