This position is open in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle. Role overview This role centers on IT infrastructure due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Projects span sectors such as Private Equity, High-Tech & Software, Healthcare, and Financial Services. The Advisory Lead assesses pre-close IT environments with a focus on public cloud, engineering, architecture, security, and overall IT strategy. What you will do Conduct IT infrastructure due diligence for client M&A transactions across several industries. Evaluate IT environments before deal closure, emphasizing cloud, security, and architecture. Identify and communicate key risks and concerns to client executives through investment summaries. Support post-close remediation projects based on due diligence findings. Contribute technical and advisory expertise to help grow the technology M&A advisory practice. Requirements Strong background in IT or public cloud engineering, architecture, security, or strategy. Experience with technology due diligence or IT assessments in M&A settings is highly valued. Ability to summarize technical risks for business stakeholders and work directly with client executives. Adaptability to work across multiple industries and new client environments.
