Develop and oversee the preparation of work instructions, process specifications, and change documentation for sputter processes to guarantee adherence to corporate quality standards and customer specifications.Continuously establish and optimize CPK values and process windows for crucial parameters, ensuring stable, consistent, and repeatable mass production operations.Assist in assessing the effects of new materials, structures, and parameters on defect rates and yield performance.Collaborate with Quality Control, Failure Analysis lab, and equipment engineering teams to examine defect samples, identify root causes, and implement corrective action solutions.Lead projects aimed at reducing sputter-related defects by utilizing data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify key factors and execute plans that enhance yield KPIs.Work closely with sputter hardware and equipment teams to promote Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements and cost-saving initiatives.Monitor and analyze key Key Performance Output Variables (KPOVs) and other critical performance metrics, benchmarking against reference and past generations to drive ongoing sputter process enhancement.Engage in the development and maintenance of the media process roadmap, providing technical insights for new product introductions and process upgrades.
