About the Role
In the capacity of Senior Product Manager at Brandlight, you will excel at the nexus of product innovation and execution efficiency. You will possess a profound understanding of customer challenges, formulate decisive perspectives on product development, and lead initiatives through to the delivery of impactful products that drive business outcomes.
This role entails singular ownership; you will not inherit a pre-defined roadmap. Instead, you will create one based on customer insights and strategic reasoning, taking full responsibility for the journey from problem definition to launch and evaluation. Collaborating closely with leadership, engineering, and go-to-market teams within a fast-paced, resource-limited environment, your decisions will carry significant weight. The ideal candidate has previously navigated product development amid uncertainty, demonstrates the ability to decline 90% of requests, and boasts a history of delivering solutions that customers didn’t realize they needed but now can’t do without.
Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and execution for a critical domain, from identifying key issues to delivering an adopted product.
Conduct in-depth analysis of customers, competitors, and market trends; translate findings into evidence-based product decisions.
Make tough prioritization decisions and establish a transparent framework that the entire organization trusts for determining what to build.
Ensure rapid and precise delivery: develop clear specifications, aggressive scopes, and maintain swift cycles with no ambiguity.
Validate concepts prior to development; design quick research cycles and abandon ideas that the data does not support.
Align each initiative with a business metric and measurement plan before development begins; oversee the entire process through to post-launch impact assessment.
Maintain alignment with the CEO, R&D, and go-to-market teams through clear communication and decisive actions.
Establish repeatable systems for customer research, competitive analysis, and internal feedback mechanisms.
