Frequent communication with clients will also be a key aspect of your role, as you gather relevant project information and provide updates on progress.Key ResponsibilitiesProject PreparationReview and verify the completeness of GIS data, including digital terrain models and electronic drawings.Ensure the accuracy of survey data through meticulous measurements and calculations in the project area.Process and maintain quality control of survey data from MBES, SSS, and TSS.Create and organize the project survey database.Assist in the preparation of project documentation, maps, and drawings.Project ExecutionSupport the mobilization phase by setting up survey equipment and navigation systems.Travel as required to monitor offshore projects, both domestically and internationally.Assist with calibration and verification operations for survey equipment, including side scan sonar data acquisition.Conduct daily processing of TSS and MBES data onboard, evaluating accuracy and sufficiency.Prepare preliminary as-built drawings and charts for client submission.Update the project DTM and vessel navigation systems.CommissioningCompile final project documentation, ensuring all survey records and documents are accurately maintained.Other DutiesTravel regularly to employer sites to implement onshore and offshore projects as required.
