The Role: Director of Engineering

We are seeking a visionary Director of Engineering to lead the next evolution of our technical ecosystem. This is not a purely managerial role; we are looking for someone who codes, experiments, and is genuinely excited about what AI and automation can bring to software products. You will be responsible for the architecture and scaling of a high-performance cloud environment incorporating AI. This role is designed for a technical leader who thrives on building modern, scalable systems while maintaining the high standards of a well-established company.
Your Leadership Responsibilities
AI and Product Innovation
- Drive the implementation of AI-powered workflows and features based on large language models (LLM) to enhance product capabilities and developer velocity.
- Actively use and promote the adoption of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot, or equivalent) within the team.
Engineering Excellence
- Establish and maintain best engineering practices: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and observability.
- Design and scale cloud-native applications with expert mastery of modern front-end architectures based on components and server-side rendering.
- Deepen expertise in relational database architectures for high-concurrency environments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
