Role Overview The Automation Engineer supports daily operations across Divergent’s Robotic Work Centers, including Assembly, Part Inspection, Anodize, and Post-Processing lines. These centers are at the heart of DAPS, driving flexible robotic manufacturing. This position develops and maintains robotic programs for both production and internal projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes. What You Will Do Create simulation studies using Process Simulate on Teamcenter (Tecnomatix). Assist with manufacturing data management for automated work centers. Maintain kinematic libraries of hardware systems for robotic simulations. Develop and validate optimal assembly sequences. Conduct reach and access studies to confirm assembly logic and interference-free robot movements. Program robots and automated systems for specific manufacturing tasks.
